I've made my own concoction of water, lemon juice, and cayenne pepper before. I would have to chase it with something to wash out the burning the cayenne left behind though. This doesn't necessarily burn, but that's because it's hidden by the large amount of maple syrup. I don't recommend purchasing if you don't like maple syrup! (Posted on 1/9/13)

I love doing the master cleanse for a week or so to detox and although the ingredients aren't fresh in the powder it still works and has the right grade of maple syrup. This would be great for those doing the master cleanse who can't squeeze lemons at work or who travel a lot. I think this product is great and I happen to like the spicy lemonade concoction.
