It’s been about a month now since we all started our 2013 New Year resolutions. Some of us have abandoned our resolutions, some are barely hanging on and some are still going strong! No matter which category you fall in, we’ve got some help coming your way to get you back on track or to help you keep on keepin’ on!
Get some tech help
Keeping a resolution in 2013 just became a lot easier thanks to handy-dandy apps! Whether your goal is to lose weight or stay more organized, there’s an app for that! Check out the app list we compiled not too long ago on helping you stay lean, strong and help ya to stay on the track to better health!
Wanna stay more organized? Apps like ZipList will help you manage your grocery list and recipes to help you make healthier meals! Keep losing rewards cards? The Key Ring app has got your back, it will keep track of your cards and bonus – help you save money! Did you resolve to learn something new everyday? The Snapguide app will help you discover new passions and hobbies at your fingertips!
Get a lil’ inspiration and add a lil’ motivation
Sometimes all ya need is a little more positivity and motivation to keep your resolution on track! Download our motivation cover photos and put them up somewhere you will see them everyday for that little reminder that, “You can do it!” :)
Make working towards your goal FUN!
Why not make life a little more fun and enjoy working towards your resolution? There’s lots of ways to take the edge off goal setting, like having a fun competition between friends to help keep each other motivated. Create a game on Diet Bet, an online community where competitors throw money in an online pot and whoever loses the most percentage of weight wins!
If your resolution is to be a little more frugal then get together with friends and start a couponing club! You can even have fun with something simple like getting to work earlier. Every time you meet your goal throw a dollar in a jar, when you feel the time is right, go out and treat yourself to lunch or a mini shopping spree! All you gotta do is get creative and get goal setting!
Be more specific
Maybe you made your goal a little too broad or got carried away about a whole new beginning. First of all, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with dreamin’ big, but you never know what life’s gonna throw at you, so focus in on one particular goal. If your goal is to lose weight, you have to remind yourself that you won’t miraculously lose all the weight over night, it takes time and a lot of work. Did we mention you might fall down a couple times? And hey, that’s okay :)
